Kindergarten Keepsake Boxes for the End of the Year

O.K...So, I'm sure if you are EVER on pinterest-that you've seen these ADORABLE Keepsake boxes!!!! LOVE!!!!! I got my boxes from a local pizza place. They donated 20 boxes to me! LOVE FREEE!!! Anyway-All you do is write "Kindergarten Keepsakes" on the boxes, Paint their hands and make prints on the box and then we used large marshmallows as stamps to do our polka dots:)
Want to know what I put in them????

First thing that I included was our Kindergarten Portfolio that we have been adding to ALL YEAR!!!! I always LOVE how these turn out! They are like a portfolio and memory book all in one ;) Click HERE to see a big post with lots of pictures on how the portfolios turn out!! Here is the link to my Kindergarten Portfolio and here's the one to my Pre-K portfolio and for the First Grade Portfolio.

Next, I included my Kindergarten slideshow (movie) and a disk with all of the pictures (images) that I took this year-so that parents can print, scrapbook, keep, whatever:) Incase you were unaware-I have a FREEBIE in my TPT store that will make your slideshow EXTRA cute:) They are just PNG title slides that you can insert into your slideshow just like you would any picture. I posted them last year...but here's the link again incase you missed them: Slides

Ummmm....yeah, I know the covers of these disks are NOT cute or fancy!!! I'll have to work on that for next year:)

I'm sure you've seen this one on Pinterest too:) It was way cuter in real life...picture came out kind fuzzy. Incase you can't see-each kiddo holds a chalk board and on it I wrote what they want to be when they grow up. To make the chalkboard-I got a wooden plaque from Michael's and spray painted it with chalkboard paint:) I found this idea HERE.

And this ADORABLE craftivity is from my friend Hadar AKA Miss Kindergarten! check it out HERE! My kinders loved writing about all the things that they wanted to do this Summer!

Here are our adorable Graduation Kids that we've made the past couple of years. I got the patterns for the hat, neck, and shirt from Peace, Love & Kindergarten a LONG time ago. She has an updated version of this HERE.

Here's a "Kindergarten Favorites" picture that I did with my kiddos. I asked them a bunch of their favorite things, took their picture, slapped a border around it and typed out their favorite stuff....EASY PEASY-and Super cute!!!!

This was just their writing folder that they had been keeping all year. Yep, need to "cutsey" this one up for next year too!!! ;)

Also included was a profile picture...gotta love those! ;)

A Class Picture....you can grab a FREE graduation frame from me HERE. They come in all colors and with kids instead of warriors on them :)

And, here's a little form that they filled out the last week of school. Erin Eberhart and I created this as part of our May Family Project for our May homework packet. For May, the family project was "Kindergarten Capsules". Parents can send in and contribute things to your boxes (time capsules) as well ;) You can find our May Homework Packet HERE OR If you don't do homework with your Kinders and are just interested in our Monthly Family Projects--then, check out that pack HERE.

So, that's it!!! Most of this stuff is SUPER easy to make...but, it's stuff that your parents are going to love and cherish forever and your kinders will pull out some day-a long time from now and smile:) AND it's all in it's own Keepsake box!!! Doesn't get any better than that!!!!! ;)

  1. Aww! I love all of this! I like the pizza boxes, but I have to find a place that doesn't have their logo on the front... I pinned your idea of putting their favorites on top of their picture! LOVE! Thanks for sharing everything :)
