#1 Here is a quick photo I snapped of one of my bulletin boards today. It's not the best picture...taken with my phone:) This is a TLC-type craft where we made our favorite baseball player-Yadier Molina!!! Go Cards!!! You can find this project in my baseball Unit and customize it for any Pro Baseball Player:) Check out my previous posts that tell ALL about my baseball unit:)
Here is Finny on his first ever mushroom hunt!!! We live out in the woods. This picture was taken on our property. Can you see the Morel poking up from behind the log?;)
It's about that time of year!!! This past week we did our plant unit and next week we will be doing our insect unit! This experiment is the PERFECT little activity for both units!!! It's a cute little science experiment using cheetos and bee finger puppets to teach pollinatin! It's been my top selling product for the past couple of weeks! Click on the image below to check it out!
This picture was not taken this week....but, I've been dying to share it and never got around to it!! We had a day at school where we had to dress as our favorite story book character...PETE!!!! Who else???? We got the idea for these costumes HERE from Hello Literacy!!!! Aren't they awesome!!! The dude on the left is Mr. Hempen!!! He's an individual aide in my class this year and is just AWESOME!!! He is so handy and helpful and crafty...yes, crafty!!! I just showed him the picture of the shoes and he whipped them right up out of poster board!!!! He also made his own "Groovy Buttons" shirt!! Just got a yellow T-shirt and cut it up the middle. Then, he sewed some groovy buttons on it! Genius!!!!! I'm going to miss Mr. Hempen soooooo much!!!! He's leaving us May first. Got a job at a prison teaching inmates. He will be GREAT-but it will be a sad last couple weeks of Kinder without him!! :(
Hope you enjoyed my Very first Ever Five For Friday!!! TGIF!!!!
Oh man....we are Cubs fans at my house, but I was raised a Cardinal fan. I converted when I started dating my hubby. ;) Your Pete the Cat costumes are AWESOME!

We are cubs fans too!! But I'll forgive you because I cloth diaper as well! I don't know many people that do it! I need to find out where you got that diaper cover for my little man, but I just need to change the symbol a little bit....:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting your Pete the Cat costumes which I have totally copied for my son's "Dress as your Favorite Book Character" day at school. The masks are the cutest and most creative I have seen.
