Snowball Fight Freebie

O.K....REALLY quick post this morning! :)
Do you do a sight word snowball fight with your kiddos?? Just write some words on white paper, crumble them up and let them have a snowball fight! I usually set the timer for about 3-4 minutes and let the snowballs fly!!;) Then, every kiddo takes a snowball back to their seat and waits their turn to open it up and read. I found, that if they are busy doing something at their seat during this time-it goes a lot smoother:) So, I made this little score card for them to keep track of the score. Now they can keep track of the score while they wait their turn!
There are two different options-kids against teacher and boys against girls.
Please let me know what you think! I <3 comments:) If you've already done your snowball fight this year-please feel free to pin it for next year!

Have fun!!

  2. How do you score it? Do they get a point if the word is read correctly? I really love this idea and it would be great for first grade too! ;)

    1. Hi, Sarah!! The directions are included in the download. I give them a point if they read it and I get a point if they can't read it, or if someone from the "audience" yells out the answer:) I like to do it this way because the kids always win:) But, I also included a boys against girls version too if you'd prefer to do it that way:)
