I'm sure that you have seen this MLK day activity out there :) It's been around for a while. I wish I knew the original source!! I did this last year with my kiddos and decided to make a response sheet for the it. All you need is a white egg and a brown egg. Talk about how the eggs look on the outside.
Have them color the egg to show how they look different. Then, crack open the egg.
Surprise!! They look the same on the inside!!!!
Talk about how sometimes people look different on the outside too...but, we are all the same on the inside <3

ReplyDeleteWe did this too. :) We also start with brown paint and add white paint...mixing until we see shades of all of our skin. We talk about how we all have brown pigmentation in our skin.
