Kid friendly pirates, monster and REVISED circus noise level freebies

O.K. Sorry if you're getting sick of seeing these:) I'm still getting requests to make certain themes and it's very hard for me to say no because #1-these are very easy for me to make, #2-it's so fun making and giving them away...it feels like christmas!;) And I don't like making things for just ONE person-I figure if one person wants it, there's got to be someone else out there that wants it too, right??;) So, that's why I keep posting them. Since I put the work into them, I want as many people to use them as possible. But, these HAVE to be the last ones I'm making!!!;) I have to move on to other things!!!:)
And, of course, I just want to thank Hadar at Miss Kindergarten one more time for being my inspiration for this:) They again all come with a poster and 5 signs.
Anyway-the first one is a more "Kinder friendly" pirate theme:) No one asked for this...but as I thought about it-I thought, you know, I wouldn't hang a pirate with a pipe hanging out of his mouth in my classroom-so, I bet you all don't want to either!!! LOL! So here's a better and even cuter one! There is also a monster theme and a circus theme to choose from. Click on the pic to get your copy:)
Sadly, the freebies in this post have been removed FOR NOW pending permission for clilpart/fonts. I will try to get them back up asap if at all possible.

Jungle theme popcorn word wall

School is right around the corner for me!!!  I also wanted to let you all know that I started a new project on Donors Choose. If you appreciate my freebies, I would LOVE for you to consider donating!

Jungle themed Noise Level Freebie

A while back I read a post by Hadar at Miss Kindergarten that I absolutely LOVED!!! It was about controlling the noise level in her classroom.
This is a visual chart for your class to remind them about what their volume should sound like while in school.

When in the hall, we all have our level 1 voice on!

When we're working with partners, we use our level 2 voice.

We ONLY use our level 5 voice when we're outside at Recess or PE.
Here's the chart that I came up with. It has the numbers to show the levels, but I also thought that colors would help as an added visual. Of course, red means NO talking and it goes all the way up to green...Green means go so they can do ALL the talking, yelling and screaming that they want! (Yes, it bugs me a little bit that the colors are slightly out of order of the spectrum (Roy G. Biv)...but, I just think green needs to be at the top:)
(click on pic to get your copy)
I'm going to glue an arrow onto a clothespin so that I can clip it next to the voice that I want them to have if it is a day when they need a little bit more reminding;)
I also made some little signs that I'm going to glue to Popsicle sticks that I can hold up if I need to. The extra visual might help some of them remember....especially at the beginning of the year!;)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to my 200+ followers!! I ♥ you all so much!!;) I never dreamed back in Feb. when I started this blog that I would EVER have this many followers...thanks again from the bottom of my ♥!!

Click on the picture below to get your copy!

I decided to make these because I have been seeing everyone's EXTREMELY organized classroom libraries. Well, I'm going to let you all in on a little secret....Organization is my weakness:( I REALLY wish I was more organized, but, I'm not!! But all of my blogging friends out there have given me soooo many great tips, that I feel like I'm really going to do better at it this year:)
I stumbled across this post at Mrs. Randall's Learning Library.

Doesn't her library look sharp!? I loved her bins and read that she got them at Target Dollar Spot!!! Perfect!!! So, I went to every Target in the area and bought them all out:) Then I made my labels and velcroed them to the front of the bins so that I could easily move or rearrange them if I need to:) I hope you can use them and Enjoy them:)

10 Things About Me!

Go Fourth! with Mrs. Owens is having a linky party!! Top 10 Things About Me....So, here's my list:)
1.  I ♥ my boys!!! They are my world! Brody is 3 and Grady (Gray) is 19 months.

2. My maiden name is "Blue". My name was Katie Blue and I loved it AND it was easy for Kinders to read and spell. I swear, every time I used my debit card to pay for something, people would say something about my name! One time this lady was like "Katie Blue,...hmmmm. Sounds like a Rock Star!" LOL! Now it's Mense...sounds like Men-see. EVERYONE mispronounces it-took me a while to get used to that! No one mispronounces Blue:)

3. I don't have A best friend, I have 7 of them!!! I have 7 of the BEST friends in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! We have been best friends since H.S. and they are AMAZING!!! They are like sisters to me. We get together AT LEAST once a month and I know I can always count on them for EVERYTHING! This year they threw a surprise party for me....a "10th anniversary of my 21st birthday" party:) LOL!

4.My BFF Amanda and I went through our 1st pregnancies at EXACTLY the same time:) When I told her I was preggo, she said "I am too!".  We had the same due date!!!! What are the chances of that!?! She had a C-section scheduled for a week before we were due and I was SOOOO mad that she was going to have her baby 1st...but, my water ended up breaking the day before her C-section!!! Brody was born Nov. 8th, 2007 and Bella was Nov. 9th 2007!! (our second babies were born 4 months apart. Again, I had a boy and she had a girl:)

Here they all are now...BFFs:)

5. I am a country girl! I grew up out in the middle of no where (near a tiny town in IL) WAY out in the woods. I got married and we bought land right down the road from my parents! We can walk through the woods to get to their house;)

6. I have always loved to go mushroom hunting:) It's like a little treasure hunt:) I used to have dreams about it when I was little:) Now, I love to take my boys every spring!

7. I LOVE the STL Cardinals!!!!!! Go Cards!!!

This is my brother and I (and Tony LaRussa) when the cards won the World Series:)

8. I CANNOT sing but, I LOVE to Karaoke!;) So fun!!

9. I ♥ the 80s!!! The best music and movies EVER came from this era...and I was born in 80':)

10. Teaching Kindergarten is not only my job, but it's also my hobbie!!! I love it!!! It's so much fun!! And I feel sooo blessed to have the job of my dreams!! Thank you so much to all of my blogging friends who have made me 100xs the teacher that I used to be!!! I always tell everyone that blogging is like going to a workshop EVERY day:)
